The Automotive Collision Repair diploma program is designed to prepare students for careers in the automotive collision repair profession. Academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills are developed for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Lanier Tech offers the automotive painting and refinishing specialization. Graduates receive an Automotive Collision Repair diploma which qualifies them as painting and refinishing technicians. Lanier Tech also offers two certificate programs, Automotive Refinishing Assistant I and II.

The Automotive technology program is a complete start to finish program curriculum designed to prepare graduates with all the skills and knowledge to be successful in the career of modern automotive repair and service.

The Commercial Truck Driving certificate program provides basic training in the theory, principles and skills of commercial truck operations. The program is based on the definition of a truck driver as one who operates a commercial motor vehicle of all different sizes and descriptions on all types of roads. The CTD program prepares students for both the Georgia Class A Learner’s Permit test and CDL Skills Exam.

The Diesel Equipment Technology diploma program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in the diesel equipment service and repair profession. Learning opportunities enable students to develop academic, technical and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of truck, heavy equipment, marine systems, or emergency power generator repair theory and practical application necessary for successful employment depending on the specialization area a student chooses to complete.

The Marine Engine Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in marine engine technology and related fields. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of marine engine technology theory and practical application necessary for successful employment in the field.

The Motorsports Vehicle Technology Program provides a broad foundation of racing technician and custom car building skills that service a number of career paths in motorsports and the automotive aftermarket. Our program has been in existence since 1999 and has a proven track record of launching careers in professional road racing, NASCAR, NHRA, as well as at the club level and custom car shops.
