Langston Scott serves as a Simulation Lab Assistant for Lanier Technical College for Allied Health. In this position, he is responsible for writing scenarios, running simulations, tearing down after simulations, overall cleanliness in the simulation center, and other duties as assigned by the operations coordinator.
Langston has worked in healthcare for 5+ in many positions such as a medical scribe for University of Kentucky Turfland Clinic in Lexington, KY, a mental health technician at the Behavioral Center of Michigan/Samaritan Behavioral Center in Warren/Detroit, Michigan, and a hospital service technician at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. He is also ACLS/Bls certified and will soon be testing for EMT- B accreditation 01/22/2021
Langston is currently a MS candidate at PCOM Georgia working towards a MS in biomedical sciences with a concentration in Medical Simulation He plans to graduate in June 2021. He attended undergraduate school from 2013-2017 at the University of Kentucky and graduated with a BS in Biology.
